Sisters is my interpretation of the sweet, playful, and complementary (though sometimes challenging) relationship that my daughters have with each other. They are each represented by the Vibraphone and Marimba while the Drumset and Djembe, which represent me, observing, supporting, and engaging with them. Moving from lyrical chorale, upbeat swing, shout chorus, and a pensive interlude, this piece covers a wide variety of musical styles and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at any concert or recital.
